Dark white world
The Dark White World is a title inspired by the world reflected in José Saramago’s novel ‘Blindness’. We tend to believe that the blind experience a dark world yet we learn that what they perceive is a world drenched in deep white. And they believe that the sighted perceive the world similarly in deep white. Yet what we perceive is a world in darkness. Whether it is in the present or in the future, the entire world is covered in darkness. We search the depths of our souls in this world, that is of our own making, for the “deep white” which only “they” can perceive.
